- The Cook Islands was represented at the Annual General Assembly of ONOC by the President, Secretary General and Senior Vice President. At the personal invitation of H.E. Juan Samaranch, President of the IOC, this was held at the IOC Headquarters in Lausanne mid July.

- Rarotonga Radio Control Yacht Club
- Our small club has hosted two 'Oceania Regattas' with competitors from New Zealand, Australia, Fiji and Tahiti. Every October we have our National Cook Island Championships.
